15m Workboat Powercat

This 15m design is multi purpose work boat, suitable as a passenger vessel, a marine engineering platform, survey work, a crew boat, offshore support vessel, etc.

The drawings show the easy conversion to a high speed passenger vessel, it can be fitted with a large crane, it has a moon pool, overnight crew accommodation, and so on.

The hull form is a standard symmetric planing type, top speed for the as detailed propulsion package is 28 knots for shafts and 31 knots for water jets.

In the shaft drive option the props can be swapped out for the tow boat operation. With the water jets it can operate safely in very shallow water.

The design qualifies for a 200 NM offshore passenger vessel survey category.

This is a very robust and versatile design that is well proven and capable of any suitable application.
