12.55m Composite Cruising Sailing Cat

12.55m Composite Cruising Sailing Cat

Full pre laminated pre cut kit set available.

This cruising cat was one of our first to utilise the ATL Composites 'Duflex' kit set system for the building process and materials.

This process greatly enhances the propects of a skilled amatuer builder actually geting a project of this size finished in a reasonable time frame, saving many hours of lofting and laminating and cutting.

The design features a 4 double cabin layout with a galley 'up' saloon and dining area. A slightly different aspect of the arrangement is the alternative cockpit access to the stbd aft cabin which would be particularily useful if a skipper was employed in a charter situation.

The design can be built with or without centre boards and the layout can be modified to suit individual requirements.

The standard rig design calls for a self taking jib, boom furling mainsail, and a gennaker set off the fore beam. A more performance orientated over lapping genoa and screacher on a prod is optional.

It can be built to any survey standards required for charter work and is a very capable and safe off shore  cruising yacht.
